[He can almost see the Empire on the horizon by the time Prompto responds. He heads south just outside its sanctioned airspace. Things he memorized as a pilot and almost nearly discounted because land.]
If he keeps up the trend Castor, Shiro and Hunk started, then it'll be a week before we hear anything. [He's clinging to that hope like a lifeline right now.] They all came back remembering more things from home.
[What if he comes back and just remembers to his birth? The attack on his life? The Fall of their city? What if he still doesn't remember? Or, even worse...
His blood runs cold as he pushes the thoughts from his mind. He has two passengers with him and even then, he can't afford not to land safely.]
I'm stopping at Arito. It's the halfway point. [He's going to join the Summoner Guild and head south to pray for Ramuh while there, but he also wants Prompto with him. Especially if Ignis is heading to the Curti Center.]
A week. Okay, yeah, you can do a week. [He says, steadfast but supportive.] A week is nothing, right?
Shiro mentioned that. [He murmured and sighed, it was hard to know what Regis would or wouldn't know until he came back and they found out.] Try not to- not to consider that.
[He feels as though he's the worst at comforting people, he truly does.]
I can meet you there, if you want. [He would like to charge in, but he doesn't want a repeat of the mess with Gladio.]
[Too late, Prom. He's already thinking it. He's been lowkey thinking of what would happen if any of them vanished for a week. Himself, especially. Because, well... his path back home is set.
It's a while before he responds (because Ignis didn't want to hang up). By then, he's landed and is staring at the device. Via airship, it'll take Prompto at least a day to get here. Curse the day's flight schedule. Still, what kind of question is that?]
Of course I do. [... He tries to keep the hurt that he might not want him there to himself, but... He already was because Ignis had chosen to go to the Curti Center instead, and told him to do the one thing he couldn't do: focus on himself before others.]
[He spent the time Noct wasn't answering fretting a little bit, because he didn't answer and maybe he shouldn't have asked. He spent much of it outside with the chocobos, holding the babies and cuddling them, and when Noct finally gets back, he lets out a sigh of relief. He doesn't like that he feels so out of place with his friends all of a sudden. Like they would be better off without him. But Noctis does come back to tell him to come and he gets up with a breath.]
Okay. [He smiles slightly, the sound of him dusting off his pants as he gets up.]
I'll be there as soon as I can be.
[It's not a question, no nerves would keep him from Noct's side if he wants him there, even if he has to take an airship alone.]
[Somehow, the sound is something that brings some comfort. Though not nearly as much as the fact Prompto's willing to face his fear of heights alone for him. If Gladio doesn't join him.]
Alright. [He pauses.] Sorry- it took me a moment. Ignis didn't want to hang up.

Hang in there. I'll see you really soon.
