Hmm? October 25th. Oh hey, guess I'm 21 now.

Oh, so it just passed not long ago.

I'm 22 now which is wild!

I was asking cuz I thought we could celebrate you, for your birthday, but I got time to wait now! And plan something!

Not long ago, yeah. I didn't do anything. I almost never do.

When's your birthday, Ace?

Yeah, you have time, that would be a little weird though. I had a couple of birthdays like when I was 16, but uh, not before that really.

It passed already, it was the first of this month.

Not before then? why is that?

I don't remember ever having a birthday party or celebration.

Happy birthday anyway! Even though I'm late about it!!

My parents were never around. They worked out of the country. They didn't really care about my birthday which kind of ends up how I don't either, I guess.

Kinda too bad. I know birthdays are supposed to be really fun. Next year, maybe.

It's ok, never met them. Mom apparently died after having me, and my shitty father was executed so...

I'll make your birthday super fun this year, I promise!

Still, I guess. I didn't know my biological "parent" either. I'm a clone. He's dead though. I killed him. [ Somehow the least traumatic thing that happened in that whole ordeal. ]

I'll make your next one fun too. I'll think of something really good.

[Ace is nervous as all hell, and too warm for his liking. He's dressed as nicely as he can be, and has these pretty flowers in a bouquet, all ready to be as romantic as he possibly can be.

He knocks on Prompto's door, and waits.]

[chocobosnap]

[ Prompto steps up to get the door after taking a little breath. He's used his bauble to get a nicer outfit at least, not his usual working clothes, but slacks and button down.

He's tousled his hair to look lightly mussed which takes way more time than it should.

He opens the door and smiles brightly. ]

Hi Ace!

[Ace stares at Prompto for a moment, thinking he looks really cute, before offering him the flowers.]

These are for you.

[chocobosnap]

Thank you Ace!

[ He's genuinely happy to see both him and the flowers. He's a sucker for romantic things and Ace is the only person to ever gift him flowers. He accepts them and sets them inside, safely on the counter for now. ]

Where are we going? [ He asks as he comes back. ]
